In New York team sports there’s always hype no matter what! One saw this when the NY Yankees signed Reggie Jackson back in 1977, when the NY Mets traded and got Keith Hernandez and a year later got Gary Carter and the talk of World Series began – 2025 same thing.

First up the NEW YORK YANKEES-At one point people were not sure this team was going anywhere. Slumps, no pitching, no bullpen, no hitting with consistency. Aaron Judge not coming through, Giancarlo Stanton was out, and now they’re in the postseason and one can see from the last two games against the Toronto Blue Jays what the NY Yankees season was – filled with ups and downs! Now they’re in trouble by two games down coming into Yankee Stadium. Is this season over? Fans are sending prayers.

The New York Mets currently fired their whole coaching staff or some have retired. Dont blame them! The way this team played after the All Star Break one had to cross their fingers every time they played. Currently, a couple of managers, Bruce Bochy who managed the Texas Rangers and Joey Cora of the Boston Red Sox, have either resigned or are on the verge of getting terminated. Could one come to manage in New York City?
