NELSON CRUZ – GRAND MARSHAL OF THE DOMINICAN DAY PARADE 2025

In the second week of August in New York City it’s annual “DOMINICAN DAY PARADE!” On the streets of 6th Avenue from 35 to 57th street there’s Dominican flags waving red, white and blue, sounds of Bachata and Merengue, dancing in the streets.

That day on August 10, 2025, the day of the parade, a potential future Hall of Famer was given the honor of grand marshal for the parade, DESIGNATED HITTER/OUTFIELDER/SLUGGER NELSON CRUZ. His stats: Career hits 2053, HR 464, BATTING AVERAGE .274. To add, he was also the winner of the Roberto Clemente award for community service. Hall of Famer many will agree, I do.
